I have been a student of Vinetta's since 2011. I think I might be one of the oldest in her class. (91) At first I didn't think I could do the Tai Chi forms but the more I came the more I loved it.  The deep breathing and relaxation has helped me learn to be calm as well as helped me sleep better.  The reflexology helped me get the kinks out of my neck.  The Tai Chi forms have really helped me with my balance. I had a stoke and my physical therapist  was so surprised how fast I was able to bounce back.   I love watching Vinetta do the Tai Chi forms. She is so graceful. It gives me encouragement that someday I will be as graceful.  I love coming to class.  I think I'm her #1 fan!

I have taken Tai Chi from Vinetta for a few years now, I am 61 years old and it has been great for me.  It has helped me with back and hip issues, and in my recovery from breaking my leg a year ago.  It is a wonderful stress reliever, her guided meditation of gratitude is wonderful, and the reflexology she does is great for the feet.  All together it is super for mind body and spirit!  Vinetta is a great teacher and instructor, she is patient, explains things extremely well, is very conscientious of each person, their capabilities and limitations.  Her positive and cheerful disposition is uplifting and she always makes you feel great, and like you can do anything.  Her class is a fun and joy to attend.  Marylynn  

 

At the beginning, I was a bit skepticql about Tai Chi being able to help me learn how to relax and be calm, especially since I tend to be a tightly wound person. As I have continued to attend the class, I can see how much Tai Chi has helped me.  I'm able to better control my thoughts and allow calming influences to prevail. I've learned how to control my body with slow, flowing movements.  It has now become an essential part of my life that I need and look forward to.
